Maxwell Kanyire Nyuor
Maxwell Kanyire Nyuor is an energy engineer and researcher specializing in solar energy and energy systems optimization. He holds a Master of Science in Energy Engineering from the Pan African University Institute for Water and Energy Sciences, Algeria, where his research focused on the techno-economic analysis of solar PV mini-grid systems with storage based on measured electricity load data of Tamale, Ghana. Previously, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University for Development Studies, Ghana. Maxwell has practical experience in solar PV installation, load profile analysis, simulation and optimization of energy systems, electricity distribution planning, power systems loss analysis. He has served as an intern at VRA/NEDCo, teaching assistant and contributed to World Bank, Ghana Green Growth PASA research as a field enumerator. He has received multiple scholarships including (PAU, GNPC and SCB) scholarships. Also, he is passionate about advancing sustainable energy access in Africa.
