Placide FAKHIGUI ASSANA from Cameroon is an Engineer currently pursuing a Post-Master’s in Renewable Energy at Polytechnic School of Paris (MS ETRE, l’X/INPHB). Through the DAAD Scholarship, he completed a Master’s degree in Electrical & Energy Engineering at 2iE Institute in Burkina Faso and a Summer School in Climate Change Adaptation of TH Köln, Germany. He previously studied Industrial Maintenance in the Republic of Congo and is certified as a Biomass Energy Project Manager through a GIZ-supported program in Côte d’Ivoire.
With experience across West & Central Africa, he designed a PV-solar system under the BioStar project and contributed to subcontracting mining operations. His early career includes maintenance fleet management and industrial electrical operations. Currently, he is a Mission 300 Fellow of CoAction Global, deployed to the Government of Chad, where he supports the High Committee in delivering energy sector reforms and infrastructure projects under the M300 initiative led by the WBG and AfDB.
