Anindo Adonijah
Adonijah Anindo is a renewable energy researcher whose work bridges academic research and solar industry innovation. His industry interest lies in solar driven solutions, specifically in technology transfer and commercialization. In research, he focuses on high resilience perovskite solar cells with improved efficiency for next generation photovoltaic technologies. His advanced training includes the HERCULES School in Grenoble and Barcelona, the International School on Materials for Renewable Energy and Sustainability in Erice, and the Open Africa Power Program on power system digitization, regulation, and energy transition. Through collaboration, Adonijah has contributed to piloting wind solar hybrid systems in rural Kisumu, Kenya, through Angaza Africa and E Safiri Limited. In addition to his publications in high impact factor journals, his work has earned the Commonwealth Award on SDG 7 & SDG 11, the IUCr Young Scientist Award, a Medal Award at the Young Scientist Kenya National Science and Technology Exhibition and grant supporting youth led climate action by Force of Nature.
